Dr. Sandy worked miracles with me. I am 81 years old and have had multiple falls resulting in three broken hips (one twice), a fractured patella, elbow joint replacement , many smaller incidents plus arthritic knees. Needless to say, I am lucky to be walking. After a few visit with Dr. Sandy, I was able to get down and up on my own to do floor exercises along with working on balance and posture improvement Most important, Dr. Sandy restored my confidence, which I totally lacked, to achieve these "miracles".

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Sandy. She treated my 90-year-old mother who was struggling with limited mobility and pain after a fall and hip surgery in March of 2024. I am a retired medical social worker and have worked with numerous physical therapists during my career and Dr. Sandy is the most knowledgeable PT I have met. I find her holistic approach to be extremely effective. Dr. Sandy is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. She carefully assessed my mom's needs and developed a personalized treatment plan that was both challenging and achievable. She used a hands-on approach and got down on the floor to demonstrate to; and then assist my mom with the exercises to insure proper technique. Dr. Sandy encouraged me to take videos of the exercises for use when my mother did her “homework.” She explained everything clearly and answered all of my mom's and my questions patiently. Thanks to Dr. Sandy's expertise and encouragement, my mom has made significant progress. She is now more independent and experiencing less pain. My mom has gone from needing a walker to walking with a cane and now she can walk in her home unassisted. I am so grateful for the positive impact Dr. Sandy has had on my mom's life. I wish I had taken my mom to Dr. Sandy before my mother fell. I believe if I had my mom most likely would have never fallen. I highly recommend Dr. Sandy to anyone seeking compassionate and effective physical therapy.

I can't recommend Dr. Sandy enough! She takes a holistic approach to care, helping me uncover the root causes of my symptoms rather than just treating them superficially. From our very first session, she went above and beyond to educate me on everything from posture to anatomy, ensuring I felt confident in doing the prescribed exercises and stretches on my own. I initially came in with intense sacrum pain, thinking it was pregnancy-related, but, we discovered a different cause. Within just a week of implementing her exercises, I felt noticeable relief— this was much sooner than I ever expected! I feel a lot more comfortable and confident going into birth! What stands out the most about Dr. Sandy is her passion for her work and her genuine care for her patients' well-being. Her knowledge and personable nature made every session enjoyable, and I always left feeling empowered to take control of my healing journey. While consistency with the exercises is key (I notice symptoms return when I slack off), I'm so grateful for the tools she has given me to feel better and stay better. So make sure you do what she tells you to do!

The yoga series hosted by Dr. Sandy has been amazing! Her yoga practice paired with her relaxing voice and medical experience has made this the most useful/therapeutic yoga class I have ever been to, and now I know how to incorporate proper techniques and form into my at-home yoga routine.

I was diagnosed with severe scoliosis at age 12 (75°/85° S-curve) and had Harrington rod surgery soon after, fusing T4–L3. Despite that, I’ve lived a full, active life—sports, travel, and three pregnancies, including full-term twins. For the last 25 years, I’ve managed chronic back pain with regular exercise and occasional arthritis medication, but in recent years the pain has increased. I wanted to protect my long-term mobility and started looking for someone who understood complex spines. That’s how I found Dr. Sandy. I’ve been referred to physical therapy many times, and the pattern was always the same: a quick 15-minute evaluation followed by being handed off to an assistant to run through generic exercises. Every follow-up was a repeat of the same routine. Dr. Sandy was completely different. My first appointment was over an hour. She reviewed my X-ray, asked detailed questions about my daily habits, sleep, and activities, and did a thorough assessment of how I move. We talked about my long-term goals, not just short-term pain relief. I expected basic back and hip exercises. Instead, Dr. Sandy created a truly comprehensive plan—addressing tight ankles, calves, and hamstrings (which were causing compensation), as well as targeted back and hip work, plus guidance on how to sleep, walk, and stand to reduce strain. Each week she reviewed my progress personally and adjusted my plan. At my final session, she even gave me future progressions for the next few months so I could keep improving on my own. Dr. Sandy is, without question, the best physical therapist I’ve ever worked with. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Sandy is AMAZING! She has helped me so much with pain before and during pregnancy. She is filled with so much knowledge about our pelvic floor, nutrition and soo much more. She doesn’t just see us as patients, she sees us as people and works hard to help us feel better and more comfortable with our bodies. Her clinic is such a peaceful and safe environment. I will always recommend her to anyone!

Working with Dr. Sandy offered the level of care I was seeking: dedicated attention, unrushed sessions, and personalized treatment plan. I learned so much about my body through working with Dr. Sandy, especially how scoliosis affects not just my spine but my entire body. One of the biggest shifts for me was changing how I see my body image. I used to think I carried excess weight in my midsection despite consistent diet and exercise. However, through her holistic approach and education I learned how my spinal curve impacted my alignment and appearance. My after photos at the end of treatment looked like I lost weight when in reality it was the correction of my scoliosis! She takes the time to uncover the root causes of symptoms rather than treating them superficially and went above and beyond to educate me on everything from posture to anatomy. She practiced exercises with me until I could confidently perform them on my own. What stands out most is her passion for her work and her genuine care for her patients’ well-being. Her level of expertise is unmatched and worth the 1hr+ drive to see her. I’m so grateful for the tools Dr. Sandy has given me to feel better and stay better!

Sandy was amazing. I found Resonance PT on line, and I chose her because of all of the good reviews. Well, they weren’t wrong. Sandy was warm and caring, yet professional. And, she’s a good listener. I came in for some serious back issues that I had pretty much already convinced myself couldn’t be helped. But, Sandy proved me wrong. She showed me exercises and stretches and even asked for my phone so she could take pictures and videos of what I’m supposed to do when I get home. She also encouraged texting her, after each session, in case I had further questions, etc. It’s been about 2 1/2 months now since I have been to her, and I’m still doing so much better. I would recommend Resonance Physical Therapy in a heartbeat.

I was very fortunate to find Dr. Sandy through an internet search after my surgeon prescribed physical therapy following my prostate surgery. I was looking for a specialist in pelvic floor and incontinence issues and indeed Dr. Sandy completely satisfied that need. I had a very aggressive goal to be ready for a long-planned international trip that expectantly ended up being a little over three months after surgery. Dr. Sandy developed a comprehensive program focused on the pelvic floor muscles but also included exercises for related muscle groups including the abdomen, legs, glutes, and back. The home exercise program and weekly sessions with Dr. Sandy worked to have me ready to go on my trip with only minor bladder control issues. The home exercise program is now part of my daily routine and I plan on continuing the program going forward. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Sandy for men recovering from prostate surgery. I immediately connected with her as she is compassionate, understanding of the issues faced after surgery, and communicates very well. After the initial evaluation she developed and provided the necessary instructions for a home exercise program that worked to meet my extremely aggressive schedule. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Sandy for my physical therapist.
